    Ying is an artist and a researcher from Suzhou, she’s currently based in US Midwest. She has a background in journalism, ethnic studies, and transnational gender studies. Her current research is in the field of disability studies, transnational feminism, globalization, and fat studies. She’s also a photographer and a performance artist.
